This week L got to go up in a teeny plane and took pics of our house from the sky!! If you look very closely you can see me on the deck waving!
he said it was brilliant seeing it from above.

Once a year, twinkling in the winter sky just before dawn, Matariki (the Pleiades) signals the Māori New Year. Traditionally, it was a time for remembering the dead, and celebrating new life.
