I'm thinking about becoming German
Obviously big beers, leather shorts held up by braces, sausages, punctuality and steady employment are a major part of the appeal but as if we needed any more of a shove to seek to transfer nationalities today it came from the British Prime Minister.
I've just come to realize that, as much as I love the UK, the EU is just better. It's a 42 inch HD Samsung with a Super AMOLED display to your granddads old valve radio.
The UK appears a xenophobic place filled with little Englanders moaning about the shape of bananas, influenced by a shallow/corrupt media and ruled by a government no one ever wanted. It's to my immense surprise often that the EU has let the UK stay a member of the club.
So please Germany if you are reading this, as the nexus of the new Europe, can I be a German instead?

.On a serious note though if painted into a corner on the issue I'd rather be EUish than UKish now, being part of the EU is more than half the reason for having a British passport.
Did we learn nothing from Harold Wilson? It's like a national amnesia.

My Malaysian driving license has a typo on it GER instead of GBR so they have made me German
