Hottest Day Of The Year!
Memo to self, do NOT spend it at a go-karting meet!! We were in Hawkes Bay for the weekend for my son's racing and it hit 45 degrees at the track ...
I've never seen so many golf umbrellas, I felt like Michael Jackson's aide sheltering my Mini-Stig on the grid!
Tonight it's meant to be 17 degrees through the night, bought on my the hot air from Oz.
Anyone else noticed it this weekend?

Hey that looks like fun! Except for the heat of course. My mum has just rung from Auckland complaining about the heat, over 20 deg C at 11pm!!

I'm in Surbiton, quite close to the Surrey border, so I think of myself of Surrey mostly, especially as I work there too. The school I work in closed Mon and Tue. I was hoping for another snow day next week, but it's not looking good right now.

-10 degrees in Carlisle last night. Have attached a photo of our garden on Monday. Should help to cool you lucky buggers down.

Been snowing since 2pm and still coming down,temp is 0.2 celsius. Looks as if we will have at least 4-5 inches by morning!

We had 6 inches of snow last week & although it hadn't melted, at least it hasn't snowed since Thurs....until today that is!! Another couple of inches...and it doesn't look like it's gonna stop in a hurry! 
It was -7 last night!
I just hope the packers will be able to get here...they're supposed to be coming in the morning!

Currently reading 24 celcius with 97% humidity.........at 0130hrs. Uncomfortable? Oh yes, waiting for alcohol to kick in the sleeping aids!!
