Hey everyone,

My husband received his overseas postal vote- the envelope says no stamp needed, the generic guide says no stamp needed if posting within the UK.

Anyone know if it needs a stamp?

They won't need to do much for Brexit as the immigrants they have employed to manage it will sort all that.

After much faffing around and a few words, I have finally managed to get my proxy vote sorted ..... I think

Why do I want to do this?

Because the UK is my country & I may be able to return there one day.

NZ is where I live and I would vote here too. Why? Because I am boots on ground and so have a vested interest .

Voting matters.

What do the statute of limitations have to say about that?

Agreed, voting is important even if your constituency is not marginal because it helps decide future boundary changes.

My sister went back, but in an ice-cream container

She wanted to be among the bluebells.

Special trip.

Interesting that both parties are polling closer togeather just before the manchester bombing. It looks like, if the current trend continues, it may be a hung parliament which would likely very segnificantly democratise a Brexit.

Why do you expect the pollsters to be right :-) my money (literally) is on a 40 seat Conservative majority.

Agreed, Conservatives have probably been given a boost by recent events. Also I do think the most likely outcome is still a Conservative majority.

It will be interesting to see if May survives after the election.
Especially if it's a hung parliament.
Knives will be out because of her bumbling performance.

Providing she gets an improved majority she will survive - not many alternatives (options like Hammond are tarred by their perceived 'Remainer' status, Osborne/Boris/Gove - nope).

Theresa May was Home Secretary for the last 6/7 years and was responsible for cutting 20,000 police officers. She said they were "crying wolf" when they warned her of the dangers!

She is in real trouble over this and it is anything but a boost for the Conservatives!

At least one poll reported today shows Corbyn to be in the lead.
