England - better defenders than chasers?
England most likely to beat SL if they bat first - Crucial Toss to win.
Unlike the Aussies/Kiwis, they are slow starters - however, guys like Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler can easily take the score past 300 even if they are like 160/4 in 40 overs.
With 300 to defend, the bowlers do not need to bowl magic balls, just a few dot balls every over or so and the wickets keep coming.
The last 2 games are against the minnows - Bangladesh and Afghanistan - anyways.

Re: England - better defenders than chasers?
You're talking about the English attack
The English attack that love bowling short pitched leg side deliveries that a batsman loves smashing to the boundaries
309/6 and yet our joke of an attack have given this game to Sri Lanka with ease. Just tell them bowl yorkers good out swing bowling to the stumps - difficult to deal with. It's one day not test match Cricket
Utter rubbish
