You would possibly like Vancouver, well if you could deal with the rain. Tons of hiking for those into it, along with skiing, and ocean activities etc, just wetter and colder.

Bars, restaurants, barbers, hairdressers, massage places and such were closed for most of the spring here in BC where I am, but were allowed to reopen in June, with some being allowed to open in May....

I don't know what the law around sick day's in Canadian provinces are, but in California sick days were not legally considered wages, so it was use or lose type benefit, Vacation days are considered...

I haven't had paid sick day's since 2003, and I can't recall if I used them even, the company did have HR policies in place to curb abuse, if they noticed a pattern of someone calling in sick only on...

I plan to get the singles vaccine the day I turn 50, and I hope I don't get it in my 40's, I do not want to experience it. Seeing how it affected my mom this year, and she still has some lingering...
