Yes, to be clear, it was the first, solid red light that i was wondering about. It was a red marker light. I did wonder if it was a rocket/missile but i am sure i would have seen some exhaust flame

Sounds like a plan - how did it go? I am getting back on the erg after a few months cycling instead to protect a sore elbow (tennis elbow). It still hurts, but i can't stay off the erg any longer....
