The joke in the 90's was whether the schools had a booze and drugs problem. The view was that there was no problem, everything was readily available.

Depends on your visa as well. If you are an Australian permanent or citizen or on a temporary visa (akin to the old 457) your offshore earnings / income are treated differently.

A commission only role with 9k pcm "basic" (equivalent to c. GBP23k) is very much an entry level job in the financial sector. If its without other benefits (such as housing, visa, health insurance)...

probably because the broker didn’t want to take the compliance risks of non-resident accounts. Many banks apply blanket policies which are tighter than what regulations state. These restrictions...
