Hi Mike, just checking you are referring to LV car insurance, I phoned them again this morning and have been reassured that this is unaffected. LV travel insurance is of course a different matter,...

Re: Corona virus

Fortunately, having checked with LV our car insurance is completely unaffected so you are unlucky. If anyone is concerned a simple online query should suffice.

Re: Corona virus

To say all motor insurance is invalidated is inaccurate.. For example, note the following: "Freddy Macnamara of flexible car insurance provider Cuvva said: “Driving abroad in a country where FCO...

Re: Car hire

We always use Drive4Fun, good rates, include cross border travel and the standard insurance cover is good. Plus they are based in the airport car park so no transit issues.

Re: Rules for communal pools opening up.

Have to disagree with you on both counts, Dave. Google is a useful tool, not your or certainly my friend. If you're concerned about being monitored, check what Google has on you. And while the use of...

Re: I need help total taxes

I have made a record of the approximate costs of running my two bed house and it correlates very much with the above at between 300 and 350 Euros a month. This is an average, some months there is...

Re: Our "New" Valle Guadiana Golf Club

Unless I calculated incorrectly, playing off the whites I gain two strokes, playing off the reds the boss loses three strokes, a magnificent situation meaning she actually now has to give me shots....

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

Awesome, proof that's all that was ever needed, a modicum of competence regarding the management of a facility that has so much support and desire for its success. Great news indeed. Now onward and...

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

Whilst you do make a valid point, CE has been decaying for years and was in effect finished when IC came in. Far better to have a vibrant, sought after golf course that requires a degree of planning...

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

That's fascinating, shows the scale of work required and how lucky we are that finally we have course managers who seem to know what they're doing. Thank you for the video.

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

Thank you. I'm not sure the amount of work required can be a surprise. Negotiations took a long time and I imagine before investing a considerable amount of effort and money in the purchase IC...

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

I have faith in the IC guys, but turfing a golf course would be a huge undertaking, overseeding is the common practice. Grass is of course a tough plant and the CE fairways need management, proper...

Re: Sale of hotel & golf courses

I'll take that at the moment. Much better than 18 holes IC and 0 holes CE . Get this right and it's a foundation for the future. Without it the hotel would remain a hoshell
