Yes but comfortably higher than any other "Developed" country on the list.

The gun crime rate in the US looks good when compared to poor countries or countries in civil war.

I'd be more succinct and say ignorance is thinking guns don't kill people. And then trying to twist whatever inconclusive stat you can find to support your warped and deranged view.

Yeah. A year is a really good sample time where statistics are likely to be accurate and conclusive.

I'd say education and ignorance is looking at an inconclusive stat in isolation.
