Re: L1b changed to H1b. Who's right?

I asked for mixed (h)erbs in the supermarket and got a blank stare. One of those things you think with the racks and racks of spices/herb jars they have would be available.

Re: Mince pies

I found jars of mincemeat in Wegmans, and freezedried packets too. Unfortunately these had a used by date of Aug 2009 on the packet.
Oops Wegmans, naughty, naughty!

Sweet Lord am I learning that's true!
Skyped my Mum today who claimed they had had snow overnight in Hampshire, UK. I showed her REAL snow, the foot+ that we had!

Re: L1 Visa Interview

I feel for you, I wouldn't want to go through that again. Not that it was anywhere near the ordeal that I expected, it was the anticipation that was the worst thing.
Tips, be prepared, don't take...

Re: Getting put down a grade at school

Ditto what everyone has already said Sarah. I think it's a very good thing it's been picked up early and that the American system is so flexible.

Re: How to Watch Decent UK TV live?

We have a premium sub for Spotify so we can download music and have access to it offline on our iphones. I find it much better than Pandora. Saves a fortune on what MrNYC would spend on music per...

Re: Snowing in Texas...

Yeah my Hubby was saying the other day how accurate it is!
Snowing here, but too wet for it to settle. We put the tree up though, with the snow in the background, very festive :-)
