Re: Moving from UK to LA - should we go for it?

The US has a 26 trillion dollar economy. In addition to this it is estimated to have a off the books cash only economy of about 3 trillion which is as big as the UK economy.

Re: What are you watching right now?

Just watched the last episodes of Ozark on Netflix. Very good series. On Prime just watched “Idaho the movie”. Was interested because Idaho is one of three states I haven’t been to. Would be good for...

Re: Moving with Children

Part of the problem is graduation requirements. You can graduate with little in the way of math and science classes. Later when they decide to go to college the student is very deficient in math...

Re: Moving with Children

I agree we could do a much better job in our K-12 schools. We lag far behind many countries. In our recent past a kid could goof off thru school and have a decent living without going to college....

Re: Let's talk about cars

He didn’t trade it in. He just took it back to dealer after test failed yelling and screaming about why it failed. To shut him up they bought it back on the spot for cash. He has since bought a Ford....

Re: Let's talk about cars

I missed a very good deal recently. My cousin in Nashville bought a BMW suv type car new in 2017 and only put 9000 miles on it. It failed the Nashville emissions test this year and he sold it back to...

Re: Let's talk about cars

I didn’t even test drive. It seems very similar driving and noise wise to my Corolla. I think the Accord is a much better car than both. The HRV has a sunroof which I like.

Re: Let's talk about cars
