re: Brexit

Britain has a right to be proud of their vaccine rollout. Just watch the disorganised rollout in e.g. Germany & some of the other EU countries. Forever a vaccine shortage.

Re: Withdrawl Agreement Question Help

The rules seem to be very similar all over the EU. My husband (Austria) had to prove a min. income of I think approx. 12.000€/year. Plus, did you just have a registration with Einwohnermeldeamt? It...

Since the subject is the Switzerland forum, why would a reference not be to Switzerland? Don't get your knickers into a twist.

No matter where you go you will always be an outsider. I would also be an outsider in UK. Btw, did you live in Austria or in Switzerland for an extended period?

Re: Covid-19 Vaccination

I envy you. Very few people have been vaccinated in Austria. Some people hope that may be they can come to Hungary for a jab once you are done. Vaccination trips like trips to Hungarian dentists 🤩

Re: Any way to stay more than 90 days but less than 180 in one trip??

"None of this makes any real sense to me. (as normal with anything to do with the EU)"

Wanting the cake and eat it springs to mind... Am I right assuming you voted "leave"?

Re: Any way to stay more than 90 days but less than 180 in one trip??

Re: Any way to stay more than 90 days but less than 180 in one trip??

EU never allowed anybody for tourist purpose more than 90 days. This is not new or because of Brexit. Britain wanted out of EU to regain their "freedom". You got it but it comes with a price tag. ...

Re: Any way to stay more than 90 days but less than 180 in one trip??

UK chose to join the list of "3rd countries" (e.g. US). They always had the 90 day rule.
People voted for Brexit and for end of free movement. You realize that your p.port now gets stamped when...

Re: Any way to stay more than 90 days but less than 180 in one trip??

I would do too. But when will it come? I can get in on the first round in Austria (65y upwards) for the Pfizer one. I don't think there is any choice if I want to start travelling again.
