Re: Attempt to get 2nd I-551 Stamp

Tier 2 officer just called and left a voicemail with appointment date and time, ~ 24 business hours after calling and getting through to a tier 1 officer. Not bad, appointment in 4 days.

I have been putting this off, is it essential to get a card without the work authorization stamp once eligible?

Re: Young British Family Moving To Boston - Advice on Areas, schools etc..

Ironically we moved 40 miles West and my commute is now a 1 hour drive. It used to be 1hr 15 min riding the green/red line!

Re: Young British Family Moving To Boston - Advice on Areas, schools etc..

Brookline is incredible, I used to rent there in a flat share. If you plan to buy, however, bring plenty of cash. $250,000/year is very doable to live a great life in Boston.

Re: I'm a 15 year old moving to the USA, would appreciate any help!

Agreed, hard to tell at 15 also whether going to the US with parents or staying in the UK is best. If OP wants to stay in the US, then go now, if other aspirations are on the cards, stay in the UK..
