Re: Transgenderism - a sign of the times

It wasn't an insult! Your post had the 'tone' of disbelief.
To ignore potential/ actual problems others create, is a disservice to 'trans' people.

I must say although knowing via work those who...

Re: Transgenderism - a sign of the times

Re: UK immigration post Brexit

It is just the same for doctors in that a particular job has to be applied for----and junior jobs are for 6 months, and there would be gaps for a senior registrar etc to apply for a different job in...

Re: UK immigration post Brexit

I can't see that it will be much different from the present day Tier2 and Tier 5 work visas; except that there will be more of them and more categories.
Required salaries would need to be...

Re: Transgenderism - a sign of the times

I agree with your post. However there are two problems---and how to deal with them???

1) Those that are not actually 'trans people' but in fact claiming to be just to get access to other sexes/and...

Re: The great big Electile Dysfunction thread....

1) Providing you with a little accuracy is not "shouting". I have told you that I do not know about Daman and Diu---I accept everything you say regarding them.

I do know about the history of Goa. ...

Re: The great big Electile Dysfunction thread....

What in my above post is not true??

As I said previously Portugal used the area in question as a 'post' for foreign trade, it was not a settlement of Portuguese people. The names you mentioned...

Re: The great big Electile Dysfunction thread....

I think you need to do some reading (to quote GeniB.)
I personally only know about Goa. The original invaders used forced conversion/torture to Christianity, their names were then changed by the...

Re: The great big Electile Dysfunction thread....

Don't want to go into it on this thread but there had been lengthy 'attempts' at negotiation, Salazar refused.
It was more a base for overseas trade than colony---Portuguese had not settled there....

Re: I don't really know where to put this

Re: I don't really know where to put this
