Spain are still insisting on being vaccinated for Brits to enter but anyone from the EU can come in if they provide a negative test, this will probably change straight after Easter when masks indoors...

Yes it’s still $500.000 the last time I looked but only if invested in certain areas of the country that need the investment, otherwise it’s a million dollars.

it’s a crazy situation and will be difficult to resolve, I’m sure you’ll be anxious flying to Gran Canaria.

It may be best applying for a new passport otherwise you could face even more problems...

Do you still have the same passport ?

if it expired and you now have a new one, you have a different number so you won’t get stopped once you arrive in Gran Canaria.

Like I said it was only talk but there were news articles for what they are worth saying that there is political opposition to the ESTA programme in itself and this is being discussed on other forums...
