Re: H1B - no degree

No, but as stated previously the company's attorney will get the documents assessed.. All your experience for the 12 years needs to be documented. Your difficulty would be showing progression....

Re: H1B - no degree

Mine was signed off by my boss and HR. It must show progression in your area of expertise.

Re: H1B - no degree

I had to get my experience reviewed by an independent body. I thought this was standard.

Re: Credit Report (Scores)

I thought I would check my score. I've been here 3 months and have a credit card (BoA) and a SSN. I've tried a few of the "free" agencies but get nothing from them, I seem to fail their identity...

Re: Leasing a Car

Mileage limit is 12k which will be fine. I work at home and business trips are plane and hire car. I already have a 4WD truck to split the mileage and to get around in winter.

Re: Leasing a Car

Looks like I'm sorted with BMW, they've been very helpful. The truck is great (an F150 FX4) and really useful but not much fun to drive on road. It's great for moving stuff and off-road fishing...

Re: Leasing a Car

Well, buying any new car ends up being a rip off. The figures I've see from BMW for the car I want are very competitive with out right purchase. I've leased cars in the UK and always found it a great...

Leasing a Car

I seem to remember reading on here that if you lease a BMW or Mercedes they will take into account your UK credit record. Has anyone got any experience of leasing a BMW or Mercedes without a US...

Re: H1B 10 day POE rule - Help!

I thought the 10 day thing only applied if you were entering BEFORE Oct 1st. This is because 2012 H1bs are valid from Oct 1st. I don't think there's a limit that applies after this. I certainly...

Re: Cost of eye care Uk vs USA?

Costs seem about the same. I varifocals with the thinnest glass possible. Cost around £600 the UK and a $950 here although a chunk of that is paid by the healthcare company.

Re: Move to USA?

I moved to Missouri about a month ago and live about 25 miles east of Kansas City. Remember it's the mid-west so in many people's minds "real" America, very different from New York or some of the...

Re: H1B Interview - What Documents

Agree with Vicki, you only need the things you know about. No need for anything else.
Don't forget that you can't take any electronic devices with you, that's includes car entry key fob devices....

Doree Bonner do part loads. They work by volume. I shipped about 71 cu ft for £750 plus marine insurance. That included packing and transport from my house in the UK to my new home in MO.
