I'm all for it too. I've even converted the girlfriend from regional QLD (where I can honestly say DST wouldn't make total sense).

They need a trial in SEQ. They had a statewide one, which failed....

I popped in to the Wolverhampton Spice Avenue when I was back in town over Xmas. Had a nice chat with them about Birkdale. Didn't help get any freebies though ;-)

i agree with jason and allie. i usually head over to queenstown/wanaka. however there are some great places to go near christchurch also.

I've lived in the Valley and New Farm. Loved the Valley. As long as you live New Farm side of the Valley it's great, and not seedy at all. 5 minutes to lots of pub nightlife, and the quieter cafe/bar...

don't go with darra, whatever you do. sherwood is nice, but for your 18yr old, look inner city, paddington, ashgrove, toowong, new farm, etc. much nice suburbs anyway!

I have it to avoid Medicare Levy Surchase. It works out cheaper. Have never used it, only used Medicare. And I took it out now (even though I don't think I need it) to avoid the 2% loading.
