Iwould apply for a 175 visa, it allows permenant residence, with no restrictions such as being tied to an employer/state. we are on modl and it took approx 12 months to get ours, a long wait...

It probably wouldnt matter who applies as main applicant, there is no rhyme or reason to processing, it's like a lottery. When we applied we wre told we would hav our visas in 6 onths as hubby...

I know i will be gutted if we dont get visas, but agent said we had been approved pending medicals, and nothing has shown up on them, so we should expect a positive decision in about 4-6 weeks.

Just wondering how long we will have to wait? we sent our meds and pcc this week, our deadline from CO was 28th Jan. will we get a decision by then? applied in march 08 on 175.
