I sort of agree with Rincewind. Add something like Google Gears (http://code.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=11628) into the mix and a web app can do more than traditional clientside apps.

I've noticed the same thing on most wysiwig editors. I'm guessing that the iPhone doesn't have enough processing power to handle all the javascript stuff that happens for every character entered.

It has to be in the iTunes desktop application, but it doesn't need to have been purchased from the iTunes store. So any MP3 or other supported format will work.
It really means unlimited AT&T...

It alerts you, but it's not instant 'push' email. You have to set the accounts up as IMAP or POP3, then you set it to poll the account every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. There's no common mailbox either, so...

It won't replace my BlackBerry, nothing comes close to the email capabilities of the BlackBerry. It's going to be my weekend phone. :)

yep. Iwas one of the poor suckers waiting 4 hours for activation. It's all working now though. There was no problem finding a phone. Just the activation issues. I'm typing this post on it. :)

The iPhone data plan at $20 is the cheapest AT&T offer. The BlackBerry and other PDA plans are 29.99 or 44.99.
