One other option (but very time limited) is to sell the car in spain (at a cheap price) . We sold our UK car to a dealer local to us who sold it on pretty quickly to someone who was living in spain...

I'm just commenting on this thread again as an update to say that we finally got the rest of our money paid. In the end, it wasn't 15,000 that was due (apparently that had been a possible estimate!)...

Duquesa is only about 40 min drive from Gib and has lots of properties for sale. You can get a 3 bed house there for under 200k Near the beach and has a mix of spanish and Uk owners. Near Manilva...

The court action got delayed and delayed (mainly because Bankinter objected to the first Group action and the group had to split into more specific groups who were sold...
