I think you misunderstand how the 15% minimum tax will work. Countries can still set the rate they want. However if say Starbucks Germany buys 1bn worth of beans from Starbucks labuan, and the labuan...

You get tax residence from the 4th year on by spending 90 days a year:

However you could already get tax residency certificate after staying 90 days in Malaysia previously (from the 4th year of staying 90 days)

You don't pay tax on all local transfers you receive today, same principle with foreign transfers. Almost all countries in the world taxes foreign income, so it's not like it's very unusual that...

The foreign income tax is probably because of EU pressure. And because of the "received in Malaysia" condition it might not make much difference for most.

The definition of income is probably the same as for domestic income. This is how it works in most other countries. The exception with this new rule is that only income received in Malaysia...

It says received in Malaysia, so there might be workarounds.

It's the same rules as Thailand currently. Doesn't seem to be enforced very strict there.

First you need to look at Spanish corporate residency tax laws which will most probably confirm that the company is tax resident in Spain (when managed from Spain). Then you can look in the tax...

I think the UK accountant is correct, as the problems is that directors of a UK company are not allowed to invoice the company for their work, they have to get paid by salary.

I didn't need to show the approval letter when entering Malaysia, and didn't need to show updated fixed deposit statement from bank when moving the visa to the new passport.

You get 30 days and stamp with "Report to Putrajava".
I guess you could get 90 days if you don't show the previous passport, but then you'll have to pay the journey performed visa fee again when you...

Hmm, actually they suggested not to copy the front page at all.

Next time I'll confirm the Mm2h office exactly how these copies should be certified.

When Mm2h says all copies should be certiified I wouldn't take the risk of having certified copies of only the signature pages. I wouldn't have been surprised if the document was not approved.

There might have been something lost in translation or misunderstanding, as they first suggested that only the signature page should be certified copy with regular copies of...
