Just be careful around the Step 6, as the rule is you have to have been on step 5 for 12 months to move up to step 6.
Check that one.

I would suggest you look at the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa and start the registration process as early as possible as it's quite a process to become registered in NZ.

NCNZ look at far more than just the qualification, so your years of work experience and anything that you have done since may help.
You qualification has to be equivalent to the NZ bachelor degree,...

Apparently not. We have a UK midwife (coming to work at the DHB I work for) who has applied for a work visa and is putting in her residency application at the same time. She has her NZ midwifery...

I think you will find that not DHBs are not accredited employers.

Whoops... District Nursing is Registered Nursing work, otherwise its not nursing.

There are jobs in NZ, but there are is a lots of competition. December/January is a difficult time as the NZ...

You need 2 years of experience to be able to register as an RN with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.

A lot of employers just won't pay the fee to recruitment agencies, when there is a access to so many local nurses.

Why not apply direct to jobs and try you luck that way??

It's become extremely difficult for nurses to find employment from overseas, unless they are in a very niche specialty with experience/additional qualifications and for roles that employers have...
