Re: UK Nova closing down!!!!!!

The trackers for UKNova were located in Houston, TX, and it was in the .com TLD.

TheBox's servers are located in Sweden, and the TLD is Belize. I think they may last a little longer...

Hi All

Long time, blah, blah, blah...

Re: How close are you to a nuclear plant?

Yes, I think it is. Nuclear Implosions (http://www.amazon.com/dp/0521179742/gumbercules-20) by Daniel Pope is an extremely interesting account of the whole Whoops fiasco, and a fascinating account of...

Re: Pan-handlers - do you...?

I generally give a bit, but the signs that say "God Bless" really bug me, and I am less inclined to give there. Signs that say "Hungry" tug at me, since I have personally been very hungry: in the...

Re: 6 months here... feels bittersweet!

Your moving from the UK removes you further from his control, pissing him off even more. That's a positive result!
Ah, missed that. Yep, let him know, then play the waiting game.

Have fun (I was...

Re: 6 months here... feels bittersweet!

The guy sounds like a prick to me. He just doesn't care, or he's playing some (probably subconscious) psychological control game. If you let him know it bothers you and he still does nothing, don't...
