I took my NHS card with me to GP which had a four or five digit number and letters .. Surgery told me the NHS numbers were changed few years ago to a 10 digit number . I am awaiting my new number

Ok , thanks I will try.. I have an old NHS number from 40 yrs ago. I'm waiting for a new NHS number., Anyone know how long that takes? I'm assuming I will need the new number to access the NHS app..

Elivira, I have a medical issue and explained I'd just moved back and needed to see doctor. It was not a problem . I registered on NHS GP website and the vaccines show there . I haven't downloaded...

I just did this . I had two Moderna vaccines in the States and have just moved back to UK.. I took my Covid card to local GP and she manually added it to my NHS record..

Thanks for your response Durham Lad.. So did you open the HSBC US credit card from the UK or did you open the US credit card in US and then change your address to UK as primary residence? Thank you

I have been back in three weeks . I plan on living here most of the year, paying UK taxes, and returning to the US for maybe three months at the most .. I still want to l keep my US bank accounts...

MTC : I have had Barclays in Isle of Man for number of years.. I just opened an HSBC account here in States then they opened me a UK account . With HSBC , I can now flawlessly move money from dollars...

Thanks again.. I'm looking into HSBC account .. I live in San Diego and closest branch I can find to be able to go in and speak to someone is in Irvine , quite a drive , but still doable . Thanks
