sorry... but unfortunately I can't speak to much of this except to say. My Bank,. .CIBC/First Caribbean, now charges a 10.00 charge per month on my checking account. I closed my savings account...

Re Barbados. As you mother was a Barbados Citizen, you should be able to apply for citizenship by decent (it doesn't matter if both are not.. or it should)..

I can't answer the UK question.. ...

UK Grenada. .this is Barbados .. remember. and the same place that will not accept my US Passport along with my Barbados Government Issued ID Card but will only accept my US Passport and my Decree...

what do you present to the immigration officer when you arrive into Barbados. I present my US Passport and my Citizen Certificate.. I've never been stamped with any type of maximum time to stay on...

well.. in 1992, it took me basically 2 months. .I'd say it's taking 4 to 5 years at this point. he may have said you are getting citizenship but as said.. there are next steps.. and that "fee"...
