Wedding in Goa

My eldest daughter would like to get married in Goa around Christmas time 2012. Both are british citizens. Can anybody help with advice experiences etc?

Use the cashpoint machines, as a guide add two ruppee to the £ based on the XE rate on the day and that should cover all charges (with Axis it is)

No I was given the certificate (exact name of document escapes me) as proof that the tax had been paid but it was in the buyers name. I went on an Indian govt wesite and verified the paperwork.

Sounds like a good idea. are there any six monthers willing to do a deal with me around the end of October? I could offer a better rate in exchange for sterling paid into the UK. Winners all round!!

Julie CGT is 33% on the PROFIT ONLY thats if you have had the proerty for 3 years or less (I think!) The reason for the time delay is our own doing as my wife did not want to fly during the monsoon....
