Give them a call and explain the situation. Its definately great to attend the ceremony as a family, a very important occasion, but of course she cant miss her exams either!

So a friend is possibly heading back to the UK for a number of reasons.
However, they are worried about burning their bridges over here, in case they or their son ever want to live or work out here...

We applied in 2000, called for interview 2002, got our PR 2003 and did the landing process May 2003, with a view to moving over in the sept. Got here in May, panicked, and thought I couldnt do it...

Just make sure you have your one way travel insurance in place before booking the car hire thru Canadian affair!
It's non transferable or refundable as its cheap!!
