Unfortunately I can not find a Walmart in SF. There is a target however as well as t-mobile and AT&T etc.
Does the phone come with a sim straight out the box, do you know? On the T-mobile website...

I don't need a visa of or eit,her nationality. Would I get in to trouble for entering coasta rica on the us passport? As ill be leaving on that one and obviously they'll want to see the stamps etc...
