I thought that I'd be homesick within the first year of leaving England and was prepared to deal with it when it raised it's ugly head... But nothing, not a pang! Can't explain it other than this. ...

tried doing this when we arrived but was not eligible until we'd held our licences for a longer period of time. I will however look into that again as we've had our BC licences for almost two years...

It makes such a big difference with friends around you to make you feel this is now your home, until then you don't really feel as though you belong anywhere.... We have a great network of friends...

I brought my kayak over and was glad to only because it's familiar kit... the room they take up has to be weighed against the cost of selling it and buying another here verses shipping...
