Re: Rubbish clothes?

$89 isn't bad at all for a pair of trousers, I would definately pay that, lets hope they last longer than 6 or so washes :)

Portmans isn't too bad either for workwear although I still find they...

Re: Rubbish clothes?

You shouldn't have to buy brand names or designer though to be able to get something worth wearing, there is just a huge gap in the market here for decent high street stores which are affordable.

Re: Rubbish clothes?

I have looked in Myers and Country Road. I found a nice pair of trousers in Country Road but...

Re: Rubbish clothes?

I would say the quality in Target is pretty much the same as every other Australian clothes shop and trust me I have looked in nearly every one. Target seemed to have some OK looking work clothes so...

Re: Rubbish clothes?

I agree to some extent but not for the stuff that doesn’t date. Decent underwear, basic tops, vests, trousers for work etc, all these things never go out of fashion as they are basics but need to be...

Re: Rubbish clothes?

Most of the shopping in Australia is awful. I have a complete nightmare trying to find anything nice. The quality is shocking so even if you do find something that’s ok it looks terrible after one...

Re: Hotels

We stayed here a few years ago, we upgraded to one of the four star apartments and was very nice.

Location isn't bad either, about 10 minutes walk to the lagoon.

Re: 53/4month old on flight to UK,Advice needed

Good luck. At that age they are not too much trouble as they can't run around. Give a spoonful on Panadol half hour before the flight, it will stop any pain in the ears :)

Re: When was the last time you went to see the dentist?

Re: When was the last time you went to see the dentist?

I went about four months ago and that was the first time since we emigrated in August 2005. I've never had any fillings or work done previously so only needed a check-up and clean and that was $120,...
