Re: Beware in Bali!

Yeah I know Gordon, that's why they're so liberal on that island, but unfortunately the minority that are offended have reacted with violence. So heartbreaking for the locals and tourists. ...

Re: Beware in Bali!

Coming from WA originally, (and having lived in a muslim country) I just cringe at the way a lot of my family and friends over the years have behaved in Bali. It's put me off ever going.

One of...

Re: Beware in Bali!

A pile of shirtless, beer swilling bogans from Australia converge on one of a group of islands in a predominantly muslim country, is it any wonder that they are targeted. It's really sad that every...

Re: Roll Call...

I'm not around much these days. I pop in from time to time. But since you replied to the Zimbabwe thread that I was subscribed to six months ago, I've been sucked back in because I can't resist...

Re: Wife left / visa/support position / legal / where do I stand?

Hi LD. My advice to you would be to get hold of Relationships Australia and book an appointment. Your wife and yourself can attempt mediation - you have to have a certificate to confirm you've had...

Re: Holiday in Zim this July - some advice welcomed

We've been here a week and a half now. The roads are full of pot holes, power and water are scarce, petrol queues a mile long, beer rations, internet turned off and social media blocked by the...

Re: Last Say

I have one at work, he's very glittery and sparkly. We did Taylor Swift's "Love Story" as a kareoke duet at our work Christmas party and both wanted to be the princess. He won.

Re: Holiday in Zim this July - some advice welcomed

Thanks for the feedback. At this stage we are staying in Harare with five nights booked on the houseboat at Lake Kariba. As long as I get to see a hippo, I'll be a happy bunny.

Re: Holiday in Zim this July - some advice welcomed
