COntact a few of the agents and let them know wha you are after. Some will do furnished if you ask. (mine came furnished or unfurnished...but I had to ask)

Re: Flight upgrades

Had an upgrade to first class on a flight to US but never any upgrade when flying to Aus.

Re: Anybody booked 1 way flights without house sold?

I have. House been on market for about a month. No viewings at all. If it does not sell I don't need to worry. Fortunately I am in a lucky position...feel it for those who need to sell.

Re: What would you do?

You are still young and if you want to do it then just go for it.

Re: Teacher Assessment / 175 Visa Application

I did not need to do the IELTS test but I think it should not be a problem for you as a teacher.

Re: Teacher Assessment / 175 Visa Application

I have been through the process recently.

If you have enough points to qualify through the independent or sponsored route then you won't need to do the IELTS.

You will need approval from TA for...

Re: 100 Point ID when renting

It was the first one I applied for so relatively easy.

I found the estate agents awkward to begin with. Once they know you are serious then you should not have a problem.

Other issue is...
