I assume it is before tax, no housing allowance. Is that all I would be able to do on it is get by ?
No saving, no trips away on the weekends diving, hawker stalls for food etc

I don't want to spend my weekends in shopping malls and air conditioned land !

Thanks for everyone's input, the positive ones at least. I may have asked the same thing two years ago, I haven't had a good few years ! was in a job I really disliked, was made redundant recently....
