Im a long time member here but haven't posted for ages. I moved to Perth in 2006 and came home to Glasgow late 2008. Now im going back out on the 21st Jan and can't wait to get some sun...

Having lived in Perth for the last 21 months i have returned to Scotland to try life here again. I have a 136 visa and this was granted in 2006.
If i decide to return to Australia before my visa...

In my experience, not on the Clarkson line. Transit gaurds are usually on the train. Can't speak for the other lines though.

Yes there is crime, however i can honestly say that i have never seen so many reports on crime...

Perth just ain't for us. I did not realise how much i loved Glasgow until i started going about living here. It is just a big country town and i now realise that i love the way of life...

Why is Perth the only capital city in Australia not to have shopping malls open on Sunday ? It seems good enough for Sydney and Melbourne which are constantly voted great cities of the world. Come on...

My wife and i have now been in Perth for 6 months and all we can think about is when we can get out of it. Unfortunately we are in the process of building a house so we will be here for another year...

Yeah 2nd fix is good and what i have done for the last 2 years but 1st fix is also good because you get more money.
I have my own tools, all new because i left all my good old reliable's back in...
