Look at Red Pocket mobile, they unlimited calls to the UK landline and mobile, they also offer Verizon, tmobile or ATT coverage. I paid about $205 for the year for unlimited calls, text and 8gb lte...

Try your local Indian food store. Ours has lots of dairy milk, flakes and other UK candies. Probably a lot cheaper than Amazon.

I've been using google Fi for about a month now, it's good however you have to pay the fees on top of the monthly rate. We've decided to go to T-Mobile $80 per month for 2 lines including 6GB each...

Hi Mike,

The UK Consulate is on Fannin Street in downtown, you can submit your application there and either pay the standard or expedited fee. I'm guessing in person would be the easiest option ;)

Ahh now thats the only thing I don't use is Facebook, I'm a member of the British Expats for Houston on meetup.com they seem to do a Sunday Lunch meetup nearly every Weekend, I just need to make time...
