Re: Are there 'cash and carry's' in Perth?

Yes, they are called "Cash and Carry".

Balcatta & Canning Vale.

If you are a gold card member you can get in but I do it via my company.

A lot cheaper on the basics than Coles/Woolies/IGA.

XJS's would have both engines (I6 and V12) for starters.

Just be wary of the width as the top of the V can...

One of my clients is...

Re: Guardian to launch Australian online edition

And now we have a large Under class, or 'Not Working' class.

Generally right-wing with imigration, left wing to government hand outs and usually don't vote.

Re: Guardian to launch Australian online edition

Re: perth sub

Why did I move from SE UK?

I can do 'outdoors' stuff every day for 9 months of the year (instead of 4 weeks holiday).
I currently earn x4 what i did in the UK.
My commute is 30mins with no...

"If i could put my budget up to $450 $500 where would you lot live?"

And I replied, with what we did when we were originally looking at...

Re: ITIL Jobs in Australia

I'm in IT, and I didn't understand a word of that. So it sounds like you are in 'Management'.

seek.com.au is your best bet. You also don't mention where in Aus you'd be. Syd and Melb are the...

Re: Guardian to launch Australian online edition

I thought they were going bust?

Oh well, it's just the lefties equivalent of the Daily Mail.

For every 'imigrant' and 'raise in benifits' the Mail rant about, there will be a 'banker' and 'cut...

Re: what costs taking car uk to oz??

It's either needs to have been built prior to 01/01/1989, or you've owned it for 12 months.

That's it.

Re: Cost of Living Advice - Perth.

I'll give you the costs for the wife and I for our first year (been here 2 now).

We rented an apartment near the city, so that'll be expensive.

Rent $600 (week)
Food $200 (week)
Eletric $100...
