Thanks for the info but thankfully I had the mesh removed and the hernia repaired back in April. And other than the fact that I will always have some pain due to the damage the mesh caused...

Thank you MP and Lizzyq. I planted all white ones in memory of the OH's mum. They were her favourite flower and she was a Yorkshire lass but it seems that she didn't want all white ones bless her....
