One problem with that is on a go around, the gear is down but the lever is still in the up position.

Would need another button or lever to select gear up.

I’ve only seen them at military bases in Europe, shouldn’t normally be necessary if you hit the right area at the right speed and the brakes/drag chute are serviceable.

No excuse IMHO for a crash caused by weather, i.e. visibility, crosswind or runway contamination. There are exceptions I think, with unexpected severe wind shear/microburst activity.

I must admit that I’m out of date with the latest.

Re ATC, yes correct, you do as they say, if it does not endanger the aircraft. I seem to remember someone saying that ATC didn’t have the right...

I don’t know of any suitable plants but a dog or two would keep them away as I don't think you can have deer and a nice yard.

The corn does not help and be careful, deer can be pretty dangerous.

A flying club many years ago had several PA-28’s, which all had the 0-320. They were worked like hell but never once gave any problems.

I know all about the syllabus of teaching pilots, I was a trainer myself, so cut the crap.

BTW, I have an ATPL, ETOPS, Wide body left seat.

I don’t know London City Airport, but I believe the glide path is around 5.5 (steep) for obstacle clearance reasons.
