I thought that the main reason for the Medical Exam was to eliminate folks who are potential hazards...drug abuse, TB or sexually transmitted diseases...not to eliminate those seeking potentially...

As far as I know there is always going to be mismatch between the passport and the MM2H pass...simply because you will never have perfect congruence with the 10 (or five) year cycle of the Passport...

RE the JP Fee in West Malaysia...you simply lucked out. Or the officer may have looked at an out-of-date "Appendix A"...

There are certainly some International Schools that are vastly cheaper than the above. Still a major expense...but that seems to be true almost everywhere.

Sarawak is the only State in Malaysia that has an age restriction (50 and over). There are different income requirements on the Peninsula for those over 50 and those below, but you are on the sunnier...

Think about this. Even if they had paid back all 12K of the principal it really doesn't help the issue. All that would mean was that LL was pocketing the rest and not using her "profits" to pay down...
