They also forget that the houses here are built for the heat not the cold so in fact people in the UK are more comfortable in their heated insulated homes than those in Spain.

Since Brexit it is impossible for a UK national to simply move to another country in Europe and then look for work. You have to apply for a visa first.

No idea whether the system still operates in a similar way any more but in the past the patient would register with a local GP as a temporary resident.
