This issue really came to the fore with the Brexit referendum - which had a very substantial effect on Brits living in the EU, many of whom were denied a vote.

Besides postal voters are unlikely to receive their ballot papers in time so I wouldn't worry too much.

Interesting, haven't been to GC since the late '80s so can't compare!
Malta has had to accommodate a significant number of migrants from Africa, etc - certainly there were gangs of them hanging...

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the health care.

There is a BE member (see below) who used to live in Hungary but then moved to Croatia a couple of years ago. I believe they left the UK for...

Winter is (or was?) short & sharp, typical minimums are minus 10 in January. However I say was because (due to climate change?) recent winters (including this) have been incredibly mild.
