I honestly believe you could take 30% of the staff out of Government agencies in Qatar and it would actually improve the service. Even more so if selective in the nationalities that were repatriated...

There's also talk of a 14-day quaratine in the UK after you land, and then the question over when you'll be able to fly back into Saudi, and potentially face another 14-day quarantine.

From what you've posted, repatriating to the UK before 6th April 2021 would leave you UK Resident throughout and liable to UK Income Tax on your worldwide earnings, as though you'd never left the UK....
