Thanks for your reply. Yes, the tax situation isn't as favourable as some places (eg Portugal) for self-employed - so we are factoring that in. And agree, we don't want to put her in a French...

Hello,
Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere.
We are looking to move to France from the UK/Australia - not set on any location so long as it's not too expensive property-wise! (so not Paris)....

Funny you say that. Portugal was our first option, but with the language challenges we then thought NZ might be better for our daughter. Both are still on the cards. The cost of living is definately...

Looking for for advice on where to live:

Us - married couple with 11 year old daughter. British and Australian dual citizens

Lowish income earned remotely - so won’t be looking for...
