I think that what you say is correct. With mine they worked it out be 30 US semester hours and WES wanted 36. Not sure what courses did not get carried over as I do not have a copy of the report....

We also tried both, although New Zealand for a bit longer and felt the complete opposite. I would never go back to NZ, but would settle in Australia.

We just crossed the boarder south of Al Ain.

They stamped us into Oman and stamped us out at the same desk. The parkling lot even had a road to take you back to UAE!!! We didn't even need car...
