Re: Help! Moving to Canada from Japan - Marriage visa

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you are an ideal candidate for spousal sponsorship, which would then allow you to work, as a permanent resident of Canada. Did you read the wiki...

Re: Heartbroken Man Looking For A New Life

I find it hard to believe that you would score 0 points for English, you seem pretty fluent to me!

Re: Disaster!!!

Sorry to hear that, must be horrid to receive such a letter at this point.

This is all speculation but:

Re: A (not so small) change of plan!

Yep, we did sign the paper, and in good faith. As you say, them using that against us is the worry.

I wouldn't call the CSQ route special treatment though! Unless special means paying more fees,...

Re: London Processing time for a CSQ Holders

We got PR 4 months after our medicals, but there was a pause in our timeline (our doing, not CIC's) so hopefully you're nearly there too!

We went to Montreal last week to activate the visas and...

Re: Help please - Emigrate to Canada

How about you turn the question round: what are you actually looking for, rather than escaping from? So for starters:
- you say don't like the rain, but could you cope with the long, cold, snowy...
