Re: Living in VIC - outside of Melbourne

Re: Whats it like to live in Canberra?

It's like any other modern designed first world city. If you have to live in Australia it's as good a place as any though anyone who's never lived in Canberra will tell you that's it's as boring as...

Re: Advice for which visa to look into applying for.

Cambridge is a really nice place and, in the scheme of things, Cheaper than moving to Australia. If his/your skills aren't on the list then you're going to struggle.

Re: Electrical Companies in Oz that sponsor TSS 482

Good heavens, you've moved over lock stock and barrel without a visa to stay - that's not at all sensible. A while ago I met a sparky in Canberra who was on a permanent visa but couldn't get a job...

Re: What Visa + Job Help

Usual pathway is first get your visa - if you are eligible. Then apply for jobs. You may have your heart set on Australia but Australia may well not want you. Dont waste your time applying for jobs...
