Re: Any Brits in Denver?

I'd love to live in the Capitol Hill area but looks like it's out of our price range. We'd like to be able to keep up our current lifestyle once we move.
Thanks for the input!

Any Brits in Denver?

Blimey, I haven't been on here for ages!
Any Brits in Denver? My husband's job is being moved out there and we have to decide if we want to move or not. I have been there and enjoyed it.

Re: Why Americans have huge personal trucks

I've deduced the need for these beasts could be based on one or more of these factors:

1. Transportation of gun rack.
2. Allow driver to navigate traffic approx. 10% faster than other drivers at...

Re: Fellow Brits, do you find yourself doing this?

I don't use that many Britishisms anymore but now and then I'll unintentionally drop one into a conversation, at which point my American husband will give me a blank look and I'll be reminded that we...

Sounds like you were in the Lower Garden District Wal-Mart. Yeah, that's not such a good area. However, you can venture away from the Quarter and still be very safe. Anywhere along St. Charles Ave...
