Collecting your bags is standard when flying into the US.

Flying from UK to Evansville IN, we always had to collect luggage in Chicago before the internal flight.

This is the same flying UK...

I like the ability to speak to a person 24 hours a day - automated phone banking doesn't count. Online banking is limited - can't set up new payees, can't arrange a loan/mortgage/overdraft.

Over here in the the UK i currently bank with First Direct (part of HSBC) and i am very happy with them- as a telephone based bank they are available on the phone 24 hours a day.

Ah, thanks for the cheap telephone number :)

I am 39 so from what i can work out not able to apply for a temp work visa (as over 30)....... if i can i am gutted i missed this about a year ago!...

I've used Virkon since the days of my PhD, got loads in the cupboard, use it for my reptile pets. (no, the reptiles aren't coming with me!)
