you can either go down the family assistance route and declare your UK pension as income which means you will have to declare it each year to the IRD and pay NZ tax on it

Yeah they are pretty good with the claims and we would have thought you will be on the same terms as us, we only needed to produce the receipts for immigration and associated costs plus the travel...
